This bicycle is one of my buddies. We’ve ridden 200Ks, surprised a mountain biker when he found us on single track in the Uwharrie Mountains, rode to the top of Mount Mitchell — the highest point east of the Mississippi, and I can’t guess how many miles of rolling North Carolina piedmont we’ve covered together. I ordered an expensive custom frame in 2003. If they’d sent me this bicycle, I wouldn’t have started building my own.
